Chiropractic & movement therapies
Hands-on treatment and exercise, chosen to fit your problem and your goals.
These are options, not a ranking. No technique is better than the others or right for everyone. I choose among them after an assessment.
Active Release Techniques®
A hands-on technique where I hold tension on a muscle or tendon while you move the limb through a range. It is used to treat soft-tissue problems that limit movement or cause pain.
Functional Range Assessment®
A structured check of how each joint moves, from the Functional Range system. It shows where movement is limited and helps guide your plan.
Functional Range Release®
A hands-on soft-tissue technique from the Functional Range system, used to improve tissue quality and joint movement before you train the new range.
Instrument-assisted soft-tissue treatment
Hand-held instruments help me find and treat areas of restriction in muscle and connective tissue.
Neurofunctional acupuncture
I am a chiropractor who provides acupuncture as an adjunctive therapy within chiropractic care. My training is through the Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program at McMaster University. Trials show modest pain relief beyond sham needling for some chronic pain, though how it works is still debated.1 It is one option among several and is not needed for everyone.
Before treatment I review your health history, explain the risks and ask for your written consent. Tell me if you are pregnant, take blood thinners, have a bleeding disorder or have an implanted device.

Functional Range Conditioning®
A system of joint-focused mobility and strength exercises that builds control at the edges of your range of motion.
Integrated Patterning
Movement drills that fold joint control into whole-body patterns such as squatting, hinging, pressing and pulling.
Rehabilitation exercise
A progressive home and gym plan for recovering from a specific injury, adjusted at each visit.
Performance exercise
Movement and strength work for healthy people who want to move better or get through a training block without breaking down.
Nutrition guidance
Practical, general food advice to support recovery and training. It is educational and is not a medical diet plan.
Seminars & workshops
Seminars and workshops on movement and rehabilitation. Upcoming dates are announced on Instagram, or you can get in touch.
Not sure what you need? Start with an assessment and I will recommend a plan. See how the four steps fit together.
